The play ``Spirited Away’’ begins in England.
The production of the world-famous animated film ``Spirited Away’’ directed by Hayao Miyazaki has begun in London, England.
``Spirited Away’’ is a story about the main character, Chihiro, who goes to a mysterious world where there are many gods.
The play is entirely in Japanese, and Chihiro is played by two Japanese people.
People in the UK were eager to see the clothes and performances of the actors similar to those in the anime.
When the play ended, I got up from my seat and gave a big round of applause.

According to the company that is putting on the play, it is rare for a Japanese play to be performed in a foreign country for a long time, and about 300,000 people are expected to come see it.
Mone Kamishiraishi, who plays Chihiro, said, ``There are scenes where you can learn a lot about Japan and the Japanese people, and I think everyone was happy.’’
