太陽たいようの表面ひょうめんで「太陽たいようフレア」と呼よばれる大おおきい爆発ばくはつが、5月がつ8日ようかから何度なんどもありました

There have been many large explosions called ”solar flares” on the surface of the sun since May 8th.

「太陽たいようフレア」が原因げんいんで、11日にちの夜よるから12日にちの朝あさまで、日本にっぽんでオーロラが見みえました

Auroras were visible in Japan from the night of the 11th to the morning of the 12th due to a ”solar flare”

北海道ほっかいどうの名寄市なよろしでは、11日にちの夜よる7時じごろから空そらの色いろが紫むらさきに変かわり始はじめました

In Nayoro City, Hokkaido, the sky began to turn purple around 7pm on the 11th.

SNSでは多おおくの人ひとが「オーロラが見みえた」と書かいていました

Many people wrote on social media that they could see the aurora borealis.

陸別町りくべつちょうの「銀河ぎんがの森天文台もりてんもんだい」のカメラでも、空そらの色いろが薄うすい紫むらさきに変かわったことがわかりました

The camera at the Ginga no Mori Observatory in Rikubetsu Town also showed that the color of the sky had changed to a light purple.

天文台てんもんだいの人ひとは「太陽たいようフレアが起おこったため、いつもより緯度いどが低ひくい所ところでオーロラが見みえました」と話はなしています

A person at the observatory said, ``Due to a solar flare, the aurora was visible at a lower latitude than usual.’’

オーロラは新潟県佐渡市にいがたけんさどしでも見みえました

The aurora was also visible in Sado City, Niigata Prefecture.

専門家せんもんかは、新潟県にいがたけんでオーロラが見みえるのはとても珍めずらしいと話はなしています

Experts say it’s very rare to see the aurora in Niigata Prefecture.
