An event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the beginning of exchanges between Japan and Mongolia
日本とモンゴルが国と国の交流を始めてから、今年で50年になります
This year marks the 50th anniversary of Japan and Mongolia starting country-to-country exchanges.
A celebratory event was held in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, on the 22nd.
About 1,500 people gathered and enjoyed Japanese and Mongolian dances.
日本からは阿波踊りを踊る徳島県の人や、よさこいを踊る高知県の人が参加しました
From Japan, people from Tokushima who danced Awa Odori and people from Kochi who danced Yosakoi participated.
Japanese people taught Mongolian people how to dance and had fun together
夜は、明るくライトアップした会場で、鳴子という板で音を出しながら、よさこいを元気に踊りました
In the evening, in a brightly lit venue, we danced Yosakoi vigorously while making sounds on a board called Naruko.
Mongolian people danced in traditional clothes and had fun together.
