”Prefectural Discount” to save money on travel will continue until the end of September
”Kenminwari” is a system where you can save money when traveling to the prefecture where you live or a nearby prefecture designated by the government.
The government provides money in order to increase the number of people traveling and support tourism jobs.

The prefectural discount was scheduled until the end of August
But the country decided to continue until the end of September
国は、近くの県だけではなくて日本中を旅行するときに安くなる「全国旅行支援」という制度を7月から始めようと考えていました
The government was thinking of starting a system called ”National Travel Assistance” in July, which would make it cheaper to travel not only to nearby prefectures, but all over Japan.
But due to the spread of the new coronavirus, we have not started yet
Under this system, if you stay at a hotel, etc., the price will be reduced to 8,000 yen per person per day.
