”Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea” to be released in China 3rd Miyazaki work

On the 27th of this month, the Chinese Communist Party’s newspaper People’s Daily reported that a domestic movie company has begun translating Ponyo on the cliff and will be released soon.
The release of Hayao Miyazaki’s work in China will be the third work following ”My Neighbor Totoro” and ”Spirited Away”.
The People’s Daily describes this film as ”a movie that awakens the innocence and courage that adults have lost.”
Although the release date has not been clarified, voices of expectation such as ”I can finally meet Ponyo” are posted one after another on Chinese SNS.
