Part of the Eiffel Tower reused; Paris Olympic and Paralympic medals designed by Chaumet

On the 8th in Paris, France, the medal designs for the Olympic and Paralympic Games to be held this summer were announced.
The Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games Organizing Committee announced the medal designs on the 8th of this month.
The hexagon in the center represents the shape of mainland France, and uses part of the Eiffel Tower that was removed and stored during renovation work.
The surrounding area has a ray-like design, expressing the prestige of France and the brilliance of the players.
On the back side, the Olympic Games include the Eiffel Tower, Nike, the Greek goddess of victory, and the Parthenon.
The Paralympics depicts the Eiffel Tower looking up from directly below.
Designed by French luxury jewelry brand ”Chaumet”
The Paris Olympics will start on July 26th and the Paralympic Games will start on August 28th.
