Delta flight turned back after maggots fell on passengers

A passenger plane operated by Delta Air Lines from the Netherlands to the United States returned to its departure point shortly after takeoff.
The cause was reportedly a maggot that had fallen onto the passengers.

Delta Air Lines Flight 133, which was headed from Amsterdam, Netherlands, to Detroit, Michigan, on the 13th, turned around an hour after departure and returned to Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport.
According to Detroit television station FOX 2 (WJBK), the cause of the crash was maggots falling onto passengers from an overhead bin.

Philip Schotte, a male passenger interviewed by the station, said he saw more than a dozen maggots on top of the woman sitting next to him.

I was just trying to swallow the situation.
I had a chilling feeling.
I had no choice but to wait until help arrived,” Schotte said.

According to Schotte, flight attendants investigated and discovered that the maggots had come from the passenger’s bag.
Inside my bag was a rotten fish wrapped in newspaper.
The bag in question was moved to the rear of the plane, and an in-flight announcement announced that the plane would return to Amsterdam.
ショッテさんは数時間後、別の便で米国に向かったという
Schotte reportedly left for the United States on another flight several hours later.
