After receiving a report that a man had fallen from a subway station platform, this police officer rushed to the scene and, together with the police officer who had rescued him earlier, carried the man stuck near the tracks to the station platform.
After rescuing the man, a silver subway car slid in just after the officers were returning from the tracks.
The man was taken to the hospital, but his injuries were minor.
In the United States, the incident that occurred on Thanksgiving Day became a hot topic in the United States, and New Yorkers praised the courageous actions of the police officers who rescued them.
