Three astronauts who spent half a year on a space station independently developed by China have returned to Earth.
China’s first successful personnel change in outer space
”Shenzhou 14” carrying two male and one female astronauts landed in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on the night of the 4th.
Because they were not yet accustomed to the earth’s gravity, the three people came out while being carried, but they seemed to be in good spirits and were answering questions with the press.
The three lived on the space station for half a year and returned last month after taking over with another astronaut who arrived on the Shenzhou 15.
It is the first time for China to change personnel in outer space, and the state media has extensively touted its success.
