Former vice president of “Nishiyama Farm” wanted internationally for “investment fraud” detained in Indonesia

The suspect detained in Indonesia is Yusuke Yamazaki, a former vice president of the farm management company ”Nishiyama Farm,” who was wanted internationally on suspicion of fraud.
An arrest warrant has been issued for suspect Yamazaki, who is accused of defrauding a woman of approximately 7.9 million yen by falsely telling her that if she bought fruits and other products with her credit card, she would receive an additional refund.
Police believe that Yamazaki and others collected approximately 13.3 billion yen from all over the country.
Suspect Yamazaki entered Indonesia in April 2021
On the 31st of last month, he was discovered on a boat with Indonesians off the coast of the northern island of Batam, about to head to Malaysia.
Suspect Yamazaki is expected to be repatriated to Japan in the future.
