Drink and food delivery service using robots controlled by AI (artificial intelligence) will begin in some parts of Tokyo from the 6th.
The robot is equipped with 7 cameras
It runs at a speed of approximately 5 km/h, and AI analyzes the video to avoid people and stop at traffic lights, while transporting lunch boxes and other items in an insulated loading space.
It was developed by Uber Eats, a food delivery service, in collaboration with Mitsubishi Electric and American companies, and is said to ensure safety by providing remote monitoring and a reporting system in the event of an accident.
We will start the service in the Nihonbashi area of Tokyo from the 6th, and hope to expand it to areas with few delivery workers in the future.
