Environmental activist Greta temporarily detained during demonstrations in Norway
グレタさんは1日、ノルウェーの首都オスロで先住民族「サーミ」の権利保護を訴えるデモの最中に2度、警察に拘束され、その後、解放されました
On the 1st, Greta was detained twice by the police during a demonstration appealing for the protection of the rights of the indigenous people of the ”Sami” in Oslo, Norway’s capital, and then released.

Demonstrators argued that the sight and sound of giant wind turbines frightened Sámi grazing reindeer and called for the removal of 151 wind turbines from pastures.
ノルウェーの最高裁判所は2021年、こうした風力タービンを稼働させている風力発電所がサーミの権利を侵害しているという判決を出しましたが、発電所は現在も稼働しています
In 2021, the Norwegian Supreme Court ruled that the wind farms operating these wind turbines violated Sámi rights, but the plants are still in operation.
グレタさんはロイター通信の取材に対して「本当の犯罪を犯しているのは人権を侵害しているノルウェー国家であることを明らかにしたい」とコメントしています
In an interview with Reuters, Greta commented, ”I want to make clear that it is the Norwegian state that violates human rights that is committing the real crime.”
