The world’s largest aircraft, once again in the sky with MS simulator Destroyed in the invasion of Ukraine

The world’s largest commercial aircraft, Antonov An225, which was destroyed during Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, flew again in Microsoft’s game ”Flight Simulator”.
同ゲームはこれまでもバーチャル上で多くの歴史的な航空機を再現してきたが、今回は少し特別です
The game has recreated many historical aircraft in virtual form, but this time it’s a little special.
All proceeds from the $19.99 add-on will go to Antonov’s efforts to rebuild An225.
Ａｎ２２５はウクライナ語で「夢」を意味する「ムリーヤ」の愛称で知られます
An225 is known by the nickname ”Mriya”, which means ”dream” in Ukrainian
全長約８４メートル、６基のエンジンを搭載する巨大な同機は１９８０年代にソ連のスペースシャトルを運ぶ目的で建設されました
A huge aircraft with a total length of about 84 meters and equipped with 6 engines was built in the 1980s for the purpose of carrying the Soviet space shuttle.
This was the only completed An225.
その後は、ボーイング７４７の２倍の積載量を誇る世界最大の貨物輸送機として活躍
After that, it was used as the world’s largest freighter, boasting twice the payload of the Boeing 747.
With a wingspan of about 89 meters, it is the longest aircraft ever in service, and with a maximum payload of 250 tons, it is the heaviest in history.
