Prime Minister Kishida: ”We will spend more money to lower electricity prices.”
Prime Minister Kishida spoke to reporters before the Diet session ended on the 21st.
”Some companies are raising wages, but there are people who are struggling with high prices,” Prime Minister Kishida said.
”I would like the government to provide money for three months from August to lower electricity and gas bills.”

The government was paying out money until May to lower electricity and gas prices.
But with fuel prices not rising much, I decided to quit in June.
Some people say that the government providing money can help people who are struggling to make ends meet.
On the other hand, some people say it’s problematic because it uses a lot of the country’s money.
