French high-speed railway set on fire, repair work completed, normal operation resumes from the 29th

Following an incident in which trackside equipment was set on fire on three French high-speed TGV lines, French National Railways has announced that repair work has been completed and normal service will resume from the 29th.
On the 26th, the day of the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, there was an incident where bundles of cables on three lines of the French high-speed train TGV were cut and set alight.
Although there were no casualties, train services were suspended and delayed one after another, affecting approximately 800,000 passengers, including Olympic athletes.
French National Railways, which has been carrying out restoration work, announced on the 28th that restoration work on all three lines has been completed.
We expect to return to normal service from the 29th.
Paris prosecutors are investigating the incident as a planned crime by an organized criminal group.
