Tokyo Customs announced yesterday the ”suspension status of imported goods that infringe intellectual property rights” in the first half of this year.
About 107,000 items have been suspended from imports, exceeding 100,000 items for the fifth consecutive year.
By country, imports from China account for nearly 70% and are still high, but imports from Vietnam and the Philippines are also increasing rapidly.
