Shinsei Bank, which has a takeover bid (TOB) from SBI Holdings, resolved at its board of directors meeting on the 17th to introduce takeover defense measures.
The aim is to reduce the voting rights ratio of SBI by allocating new shares to shareholders other than SBI.
We would like to reserve the expression of opinions on the TOB, send a questionnaire about the composition of the management team, etc., and make a decision after seeing the answers.
Furthermore, we requested that the TOB period be extended by 30 days until December 8th.
