According to the Meteorogical agency, heavy rain clouds keep gathering in Hokkaidou and the Touhoku region.

The heaviest rains since recording started have been observed in the 24 hours leading up to the 9th in the Rumoi and Oshima regions, and in five locations in the Kamikawa region (Hokkaidou).
In the town of Fukaura, Aomori prefecture, about 100mm of rain fell within the hour leading up to 7AM.

In the Aomori and Akita prefecture, the risk of landslides is increasing.

According to the weather forecasts, rainfalls of more than 50mm per hour and thunderstorms are possible up to the 10th in the northern part of the Touhoku region.
Heavy rains are also possible in the prefecture of Niigata on the 10th.
Since the clouds will not leave Hokkaidou until around the 15th of this month, rains are expected to continue near the Sea of Japan.
