8 dead in record heavy rains in Seoul, South Korea
韓国の首都ソウルが８日、記録的な豪雨に見舞われ、行政安全部（部は日本の省に相当）によると少なくとも８人が死亡しました
South Korea’s capital Seoul was hit by record heavy rain on the 8th, and at least eight people were killed, according to the Ministry of Public Administration and Safety.
ソウル市内では家屋の浸水や道路、地下鉄駅の冠水が相次ぎました

死者のうち３人は浸水した半地下に閉じ込められていました
Three of the dead were trapped in a flooded semi-underground
Nine others were injured and six are missing.
ソウルの一部では８日午前０時からの総雨量が４２２ミリに達し、当局が緊急警報のレベルを最大限に引き上げました
Total rainfall reached 422mm in parts of Seoul from midnight on the 8th, and authorities raised the emergency alert level to the maximum.
Hourly rainfall recorded 141.5 mm, the largest ever recorded.
