As food and energy prices continue to rise, Prime Minister Kishida has instructed the price of imported wheat to remain unchanged from October onwards.
In the price revision in April this year, the price was raised by 17.3%, and after that, the price of foods using wheat was raised one after another.
On the other hand, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Nishimura said, ”I would like to analyze the implementation status so far” regarding the gasoline subsidy, which expires at the end of next month, and indicated that he would consider extending it.
