China sanctions 28 former Trump administrations for ”sovereignty infringement”

The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement early on the 21st, announcing sanctions on 28 people, including Mr. Pompeo, who was Secretary of State under the former Trump administration, and former National Security Adviser Navarro.
In a statement, the 28 people criticized that they ”have the main responsibility for seriously infringing China’s sovereignty,” banned them from entering mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau, and the Chinese side, including companies with which they are involved.
China aims to restrain the new Biden administration from continuing its policy through retaliation measures against the former Trump administration, which has taken strict policies toward China over trade friction and Hong Kong / Taiwan.
