Volkswagen considers closing German factory as competition intensifies with Chinese competitors for electric vehicles

On the 2nd, major German automobile manufacturer Volkswagen announced that the business environment is becoming increasingly difficult and it is under pressure to make drastic cost reductions.
Major media in Europe and the US have reported that two factories in Germany, a vehicle factory and a parts factory, are being considered for closure, and if this actually happens, it would be the first time since the company was founded in 1937.
