フランスのパリで8日ようか、パラリンピックが終おわりました

The Paralympic Games ended on the 8th in Paris, France.

閉会へいかい式しきでは、パリの市長しちょうがパラリンピックの旗はたを、次つぎに大会たいかいを開ひらくロサンゼルスの市長しちょうに渡わたしました

At the closing ceremony, the mayor of Paris handed the Paralympic flag to the mayor of Los Angeles, which will host the Games next.

日本にっぽんは、金きんメダルを14個こ、銀ぎんメダルを10個こ、銅どうメダルを17個こ取とりました

Japan won 14 gold medals, 10 silver medals, and 17 bronze medals.

Wheelchair tennis player Kaito Oda won a gold medal in men’s singles and a silver medal in men’s doubles.

18歳さいの小田おだ選手せんしゅは「開会かいかい式しきのときに言いったことを、できたと思おもっています

18-year-old Oda said, ``I think I was able to do what I said at the opening ceremony.’’

たくさんの応援おうえんありがとうございました」と話はなしていました

杉浦すぎうら佳子けいこ選手せんしゅは、自転車じてんしゃの女子じょし個人こじんロードレースで金きんメダルを取とりました

Yoshiko Sugiura won the gold medal in the women’s individual road bicycle race.

杉浦すぎうら選手せんしゅは53歳さいで、東京とうきょう大会たいかいでも金きんメダルを取とりました

Sugiura is 53 years old and won a gold medal at the Tokyo Games.

杉浦すぎうら選手せんしゅは「いい結果けっかが出でなくて苦くるしかったとき、応援おうえんしてくれたみなさんに心こころから感謝かんしゃします」と話はなしていました

Sugiura said, ``I would like to sincerely thank everyone who supported me when I was having a hard time not getting good results.’’
