Toyota recalls approximately 1 million vehicles in the US due to airbag sensor failure

Toyota Motor Corporation has announced that it will recall approximately 1 million vehicles in the United States due to concerns that the passenger airbag may not operate properly due to a sensor malfunction.
The recalls announced on the 20th affected models from 2020 to 2022, including the Toyota brand Corolla and luxury car brand Lexus’ RX series.
According to Toyota, due to a malfunction in the sensor installed in the passenger seat, the weight of the occupant cannot be properly detected, resulting in the airbag not deploying properly in the event of a collision, resulting in the risk of injury.
Approximately 1 million vehicles are affected in the United States, and Toyota says it will notify customers by mid-February next year.
