Woman in her 30s dies after electric scooter collides with bus

A woman riding the scooter was killed in a collision between a large bus and an electric scooter in Karuizawa Town, Nagano Prefecture.
On the afternoon of the 1st, there was a report that a ``traffic accident’’ occurred on the national highway in Karuizawa Town.
The scene was at a T-junction intersection, where an electric scooter collided with a large bus heading toward Karuizawa Station.
The woman in her 30s who was riding the scooter was pronounced dead at the scene.
The bus driver and four passengers were not injured.
It is possible that the deceased woman was not wearing a helmet.
