”National travel support” resumed on the 10th; discount rate reduced to 20%

”National Travel Support”, which temporarily ended at the end of last year, will be resumed with a reduced discount from the 10th of this month.
The nationwide travel support started on October 11th last year with the aim of stimulating the depressed tourism demand, and ended temporarily on December 27th.
From the 10th of this month, the discount rate for travel fees will be reduced to 20%, with the maximum discount amount set at 5,000 yen per person per night, and 3,000 yen per person for day trips.
In principle, coupons that can be used as souvenirs are electronic coupons to prevent fraudulent use, and are worth 2,000 yen on weekdays and 1,000 yen on holidays.
National travel support will end as soon as the budget for each prefecture runs out.
