Toyoake City, Aichi Prefecture “Working while taking care of children” (WORK WITH CHILD)
At the city hall in Toyoake City, Aichi Prefecture, staff will be able to bring their children to the place of work from the 6th of this month for a month.
This is to make it easier for those who are raising children with work.
連れて来ることができる子どもは、0歳から小学校3年生までです
Children from 0 to 3rd grade elementary school can be brought.
The staff will take care of the children themselves while they are working.
20日は、女性の職員が小学校2年生の子どもを連れて来ました
On the 20th, a female employee brought a second grade elementary school child.
The staff members were working in the same room as usual, watching their children doing homework, sitting next to them.
A staff member said, ``It’s better than having my child at home alone because I can see what my child is doing.’’
So far, seven staff members have brought their children to the city hall.
Toyoake City will listen to the opinions of the staff and decide whether to continue this way of working.
