The zebra that jumped out of the zoo is ”deported” after 3 hours
韓国・ソウルで動物園からシマウマが逃げ出し、3時間以上にわたって商店街や住宅街を歩き回りました
A zebra escaped from a zoo in Seoul, South Korea, and walked around shopping and residential areas for more than three hours.
ソウル市広津（クァンジン）区で23日午後、近くにある動物園で飼育されていた雄のシマウマ1頭が木の檻（おり）を壊し、そのまま園の外に逃げてしまいました
On the afternoon of the 23rd in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, a male zebra kept at a nearby zoo broke a wooden cage and escaped from the park.
シマウマは近くの飲食店の前などを歩き回っていましたが、市民からの通報を受けた警察や消防がシマウマを住宅街にある行き止まりの道へと追い詰めていきます
The zebra was roaming around in front of nearby restaurants, but after receiving reports from citizens, the police and fire department chased the zebra down a dead end road in a residential area.
その後、麻酔薬の入った吹き矢を命中させるとシマウマは動きが鈍くなり、そのまま網をかぶせられて捕獲されました
After that, when the zebra was hit with a blowpipe containing an anesthetic, the zebra’s movement slowed down, and it was captured with a net.
3年前に生まれたシマウマは動物園での暮らしに飽きていたのか、「ソウル観光」は3時間ほどで終わりました
The zebra that was born 3 years ago must have gotten tired of living at the zoo, so the ”Seoul sightseeing” ended in about 3 hours.
幸いにもけが人などはおらず、シマウマも再び動物園へ戻されたということです
”Luckily, no one was injured, and the zebra was returned to the zoo.”
