Tokaido Shinkansen To introduce automated driving Target around 2028.
JR東海は2028年ごろを目標に、東海道新幹線に自動運転を導入すると発表しました
JR Tokai has announced that it will introduce autonomous driving to the Tokaido Shinkansen with the goal of around 2028.
JR東海によりますと、導入を目指すのは最新車両のN700Sで運行する「のぞみ」「ひかり」「こだま」です
According to JR Tokai, the aim is to introduce ”Nozomi”, ”Hikari” and ”Kodama” operated by the latest train N700S.
運転士がボタンを押すと自動的に加速し、停車駅が近付くと減速して止まる仕組みです
When the driver presses a button, the train automatically accelerates, and when the stop station approaches, it decelerates and stops.
すでに試験走行を進めていて、途中の駅の定時通過や悪天候でも速度を調整して到着時刻を守る高度な運転を目指します
Test runs are already underway, and we are aiming for advanced driving that will allow us to pass stations on time and adjust speed even in bad weather to keep our arrival time.
現時点で実際の運行速度で導入するのは初めてで、JR東海は乗務員の負担を軽減し車内の巡回など安全対策を向上できるとしています
