The ring-shaped electric bulletin board that displays stock prices on the Tokyo Stock Exchange has been renewed for the first time in about 20 years, and operation began on the 20th.
Before the start of trading in the morning, a ring-shaped electric bulletin board called ”Chicker” displayed the logo of the stock exchange and an image looking back on history.
The previous ticker has been in operation since May 2000, and due to aging, work such as replacing the LED (light emitting diode) was carried out.
In the new one, the stock price will be displayed as before, but it will also be possible to display videos and images in full color display.
