China considers prohibition of ”TikTok” in the United States
アメリカのポンペオ国務長官は６日、利用者の個人情報が中国政府に提供されかねないとして、動画投稿アプリ「ＴｉｋＴｏｋ」など、中国企業が提供するソーシャルメディアアプリの使用禁止を検討していると明らかにしました
US Secretary of State Pompeo said on the 6th that he is considering using social media apps provided by Chinese companies, such as the video posting app ”TikTok”, because the personal information of users may be provided to the Chinese government.
In response, China’s Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Zhao Zhongqing remarked at a press conference on the 8th.
”The Chinese government consistently requires Chinese companies to comply with the law and to carry out economic activities overseas,” he emphasized.
