Don’t plant seeds of suspicious plants from Japan and overseas
横浜植物防疫所によりますと、29日ごろから「注文していない植物の種が海外から届いている」と複数の相談がありました
According to the Yokohama Plant Quarantine Station, there were multiple consultations from around 29th, saying that the seeds of plants that we have not ordered have arrived from overseas.
I didn’t know what plant species I received, and most of them didn’t undergo import inspection.
This means that planting untested seeds in the garden can cause pests and bacteria to propagate.
The Yokohama Plant Quarantine Office calls on you to contact the nearest plant quarantine station if you receive a plant that does not have a passing stamp indicating that it has been inspected.
