In Hong Kong, where a large-scale democratization demand demonstration was held, a video of police officers crushing a 12-year-old girl on the ground and laying on the ground appeared on the net, and voices of criticism against the police were inundated.
The video was posted by the student media group of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

Police announce statement to defend police officers` response
He explained that he asked job questions to the demonstrators including this girl, and said about the girl, ``Because suddenly I started running in a suspicious manner, the police officer chased me and took down the minimum force and seized it``.
According to police, the girl was charged with a fine of HK$2000 (about 27,000 yen) for violating the city`s ordinance, which banned rallying more than two people.
