Dolphins return to the Bronx River since 2017 New York City

The dolphins have recently returned to the Bronx River, which flows through the southeastern part of New York City, and have appeared swimming around.
It was the first time dolphins had appeared in the river since 2017.
The two were sighted on the 16th of this month
While calling on the public to welcome the dolphins’ return visit, the station appealed to visitors to refrain from any nuisance so that the two animals could spend a comfortable time.
New York City’s East River was also recently infested with dolphins last year.
The Parks and Entertainment Department has taken measures such as releasing multiple fish into the Bronx River, and believes that this may have lured the two animals.
According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), bottlenose dolphins inhabit the western and eastern coasts of the United States, the Gulf of Mexico, the Caribbean Sea, etc.
