3 killed, 4 injured in shooting near Los Angeles’ upscale Beverly Hills neighborhood
At around 3:00 am on the 28th, someone opened fire in a residential area near Beverly Hills and shot seven people.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, three people died in a car parked on the street, and four people standing nearby were also hit by bullets, two of whom are in critical condition.
The suspect is still on the run, and there is information that a party was held at the short-term rental house at the scene, and the police are investigating the connection with the incident.
California has the strictest gun control laws in the nation, but there have been a series of mass shootings this year, including the murder of 11 people at a dance studio last weekend, and this is the sixth.
