数日前すうじつまえに発見はっけんされたトラックほどの大おおきさの小惑星しょうわくせいが米国時間べいこくじかんの２６日にち、地球ちきゅうに最接近さいせっきんしました

観測史上かんそくしじょう、最大級さいだいきゅうの接近せっきんだったと専門家せんもんかは指摘してきしています

地球近傍小惑星ちきゅうきんぼうしょうわくせい「２０２３ＢＵ」は米東部標準時べいとうぶひょうじゅんじの２６日午後にちごご７時じ２７分ふん（日本時間にっぽんじかん２７日午前にちごぜん９時じ２７分ふん）、南米南端なんべいなんたんの上空じょうくうを通過つうかしました

The near-Earth asteroid ”2023BU” passed over the southern tip of South America at 7:27 pm EST on the 26th (9:27 am on the 27th Japan time).

地表ちひょうからの距離きょりは約やく３５４０キロです

The distance from the surface of the earth is about 3540 km

人工衛星じんこうえいせいの軌道きどうの内側うちがわでした

米航空宇宙局べいこうくううちゅうきょく（ＮＡＳＡ）は、この小惑星しょうわくせいが地球ちきゅうに衝突しょうとつする恐おそれはないとしていました

NASA said the asteroid is unlikely to hit Earth.

小惑星しょうわくせいの直径ちょっけいはおよそ３．５～８．５メートルです

もし地球ちきゅうの大気圏たいきけんに突入とつにゅうしていたとしても、火ひの玉たまとなって分解ぶんかいしていたはずでした
