”Ice Waterfall Festival” has started at Sounkyo Onsen in Hokkaido
北海道上川町にある層雲峡温泉で、28日の夜から「氷瀑まつり」が始まりました
At Sounkyo Onsen in Kamikawa-cho, Hokkaido, the ”Ice Waterfall Festival” began on the night of the 28th.
We go there every year so that many people can come in the winter as well.
It was lit up with beautiful colors, and the visitors took pictures in front of their favorite statues.
去年までは新型コロナウイルスの問題がありましたが、今年は久しぶりに、食べ物や飲み物を楽しむことができる所もつくりました
Until last year, there was a problem with the new coronavirus, but this year, for the first time in a while, we also created a place where you can enjoy food and drinks.
It was lively with a lot of people, such as people drinking hot sake on a table made of ice.
三重県から来た女性は「住んでいる所では見ることができない景色で、ライトアップもとても感動しました」と話しました
A woman from Mie Prefecture said, ”It’s a view that I can’t see where I live, and I was very moved by the lighting.”
The Ice Waterfall Festival runs until March 12th.
