Two years after Myanmar’s coup d’état, the amount of money collected through donations is declining
More than 1.2 million people are still displaced because they cannot live in their own homes.
Groups such as Myanmar people in Japan are collecting donations for those who are evacuated
Last December, the organization bought rice and vegetables with the money and delivered them to Myanmar.
A woman evacuating said, ``There are so many people evacuating, and there are not enough places to live, food, medicine, etc.’’
The group said, ``Many people seem to be worried about Ukraine.
I would like the people of Myanmar to lend me their strength.”
Donations are being collected through online crowdfunding until March 19th.
