Suntory announced that it will spend 10 billion yen on a large-scale renovation of its distillery to improve the quality of ”Japanese whiskey”.

　日本にっぽんのウイスキーは「スコッチ」や「アイリッシュ」と並ならび、世界せかい5大だいウイスキーの一ひとつとされています

Japanese whiskey is considered one of the five major whiskeys in the world, along with ”Scotch” and ”Irish”

　「ジャパニーズウイスキー」作つくりを1923年ねんに始はじめたサントリーは、次つぎの100年ねんを見据みすえ、100億円規模おくえんきぼの設備投資せつびとうしを実施じっしすると発表はっぴょうしました

Suntory, which began making ”Japanese whiskey” in 1923, has announced that it will make a capital investment of 10 billion yen in anticipation of the next 100 years.

　国外こくがいでも人気にんきで入手にゅうしゅが困難こんなんな「山崎やまざき」と「白州しらす」の2つの蒸留所じょうりゅうしょを改修かいしゅうし、新あらたな技術ぎじゅつを取とり入いれるなどして味あじや品質ひんしつの向上こうじょうを目指めざすということです

　The two distilleries, ”Yamazaki” and ”Hakushu”, which are popular overseas and difficult to obtain, will be refurbished and new technologies will be introduced to improve the taste and quality.

　また、白州しらすと山崎やまざきの原酒げんしゅから作つくったプレミアムハイボール缶かんも6月以降がついこう、順次数量限定じゅんじすうりょうげんていで発売はつばいされます
