Famima aims to abolish decision-making fork ”de-plastic”
ファミリーマートは、来月4日から全国の店舗で、プラスチック製フォークの提供を取りやめると発表しました
FamilyMart has announced that it will stop providing plastic forks at stores nationwide from the 4th of next month.
In an effort to reduce plastic use, bamboo chopsticks will be given instead of forks.
Forks are provided upon request for small children and people with disabilities.
Regarding spoons, we will continue to provide lightweight spoons with holes in the handles to reduce the amount of plastic.
FamilyMart expects to reduce the amount of plastic used by about 250 tons annually through this initiative.
