Myojo raises prices of Chalmera and Ippei-chan from June delivery.

Myojo Foods has announced that it will raise the prices of its Chalmera and Ippei-chan series of cup noodles, instant bagged noodles and cup soups from June 1.
The price hikes will apply to around 90 products and range from 6% to 12% on the RRP and 11% to 14% on the ex-shipment price for open-priced products.
For example, the Myojo Chalmera 5-serving pack series will go from 555 yen to 615 yen, while the Myojo Ippei-chan Yasten no Yakisoba series will go from 193 yen to 214 yen.
The main reason for this is the rising cost of raw materials, packaging materials and logistics.
This is the first time in three years that these prices have been increased since June 2019.
Myojo Shokuhin explains, Although we have been working to reduce costs, we are unable to absorb the cost increase through corporate efforts alone.
