アルツハイマー病の治療薬「レカネマブ」について、厚生労働省の専門部会は使用を了承しました。
A specialized subcommittee of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare has approved the use of Lecanemab, a drug for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease.
今後、正式承認されれば国内初の治療薬となります。　
In the future, if officially approved, it will be the first treatment drug in Japan.
レカネマブは、大手製薬会社「エーザイ」などが開発したアルツハイマー病の治療薬です。　
Lecanemab is a drug for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease developed by large pharmaceutical company Eisai.
症状が軽い患者向けで、年齢に関係なく使うことができます。　
It is intended for patients with mild symptoms and can be used regardless of age.
治験では認知機能の低下を27％抑えたうえ、中度のアルツハイマー病への進行を平均で3年ほど遅らせることが確認されています。　
In clinical trials, it was confirmed that it reduced cognitive decline by 27% and slowed progression to Alzheimer's disease by an average of about 3 years.
昨日開かれた厚労省の専門部会は、この治療薬の使用を了承しました。　
A special committee of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare held yesterday approved the use of this drug.
加藤大臣が近く承認すれば、国内で初めての治療薬となります。　
If Minister Kato approves it soon, it will be the first treatment drug in Japan.
年内には流通が可能になる見込みです。
It is expected that distribution will be possible this year.
