WHO、世界保健機関、はガザ市のシファ病院を視察したことを明かし、機能停止に陥っているなか、重篤な状態の乳児ら32人が残されているなど、病院の状況は「絶望的」だと訴えました。　
The World Health Organization (WHO) announced that it inspected Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, which is currently not operational, said the situation at the hospital was "hopeless", with 32 people left behind, including a newborn in critical condition.
ガザ市にあるシファ病院の周辺で激しい戦闘が続くなか、WHOが率いるチームは18日、1時間に限って病院を視察しました。　
A WHO-led team visited Shifa Hospital in Gaza City for an hour on the 18th as heavy fighting continued around the hospital.
病院では医療サービスを提供できていませんが、医療スタッフ25人のほか、291人の患者が残されているということです。　
The hospital cannot provide medical services, but in addition to 25 medical staff, there are still 291 patients.
患者のなかには極めて危険な状態にある乳児ら32人のほか、体の一部を切断した人や骨折した人など戦闘による重傷者も大勢いたと説明しています。　
Among the patients were 32 infants and others in extremely critical condition, as well as many others seriously injured after the battle, includes people with amputations of body parts and people with broken bones.
また、病院の入り口には80人以上が埋葬されている集団墓地もあったということです。　
There is also a mass grave near the hospital entrance, where more than 80 people are buried.
WHOは病院が「死の地帯」となっていて、状況は「絶望的」だと指摘していて、即時の停戦や大規模な人道支援の提供などを訴えています。
The WHO said hospitals had become "death zones" and the situation was "hopeless", calling for an immediate ceasefire and the provision of large-scale humanitarian aid.
