大牟田市のみなと小学校は教室などの冠水で7日から休校していましたが、今日から再開し、子どもたちが元気に登校しました。
みなと小学校は先週6日に降った大雨で下校できなかった児童22人と教師20人、それに地域住民ら約80人が取り残され、学校で一夜を過ごしました。
翌日、自衛隊などに全員救助されてけが人はいません。
「家族が安全か、家が大丈夫か心配した。」
隣町などに避難している児童らもあすから登校する予定です。
