アメリカ東部を襲った記録的な大雨の影響でニューヨーク市などでは大規模な洪水が発生し、非常事態宣言が継続しています。　
A state of emergency continues to be declared in New York City and other areas due to the record-breaking rainfall that has hit the eastern United States, causing extensive flooding.
ニューヨーク市は29日、100年に一度とされる大雨に見舞われ、道路が冠水したり家が浸水するなどして救助要請が相次ぎました。　
On the 29th, New York City was hit by heavy rainfall, which is said to occur only once in 100 years, and there were many calls for rescue as streets were flooded and homes were inundated.
ジョン・F・ケネディ国際空港では一日で約200ミリの降水量を観測し、ニューヨーク市や近郊の合わせて3つの空港では、29日の午後3時までに1000便近くが欠航となりました。　
At John F. Kennedy International Airport, approximately 200 mm of precipitation was observed in one day, and by 3 p.m on the 29th, nearly 1,000 flights were canceled at a total of three airports in and around New York City.
また、40台以上のバスが立往生し、3時間以上車に閉じ込められた人もいたということです。
