神奈川県横須賀市の路上で、49歳の男性をナイフで切り付けて殺害しようとしたとして、近くに住む50歳の男が現行犯逮捕されました。　
A 50-year-old man living nearby was arrested for allegedly trying to kill a 49-year-old man by slashing him with a knife on the street in Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture.
横須賀市に住む配管工・濱島秀生容疑者は、28日午後3時半すぎ、横須賀市公郷町の路上で、知人とみられる49歳男性の胸を切り付けて殺害しようとした疑いが持たれています。　
More than 3:30 p.m. on the 28th, on the streets of Kogo town, Yokosuka city, the suspect, Hideo Hamajima, a plumber living in Yokosuka, is suspected of trying to kill a 49-year-old man, believed to be an acquaintance, by stabbing him in the chest.
警察によりますと、濱島容疑者は男性と何らかのトラブルになり、持っていた折り畳み式の果物ナイフで胸を刺したということです。　
According to police, Hamajima got into some trouble with this man and stabbed him in the chest with a folding fruit knife that the suspect was carrying.
男性は搬送された際は意識があり、病院で手当を受けています。　
The man was conscious when transported and is being treated at the hospital.
通報を受けて警察官が駆け付けると、ポケットに血の付いたナイフを持った濱島容疑者がいて、現行犯逮捕されました。　
When police arrived at the scene after receiving the report, they found Hamajima with a bloody knife in his pocket and caught him red-handed.
取り調べに対し「刺したことに間違いない」と話していて、警察がトラブルの内容について調べています。
During interrogation, he said: "There is no need to investigate further, it is true that I stabbed him" and the police are investigating the details of the incident.
