フランスのメーカーが、倉庫内で稼働するロボットを展示するデモセンターを都内に開設しました。
フランスのベンチャー企業「Exotec」が提供するロボットシステムは、注文に応じてロボットが自動で商品を探し出し、仕分けも行います。
ロボットは12メートルの高さまで昇り降りが可能で、2分以内に商品を作業者の手元まで運べるということです。
国内ではユニクロやヨドバシカメラ、三井不動産などが、このシステムを導入しています。
デモセンター内には、システムを導入した倉庫内の様子を映像で疑似体験できるスペースもあります。
物流に携わるドライバーが不足する、いわゆる2024年問題が間近に迫るなか、Exotecは「物流倉庫の作業効率を向上させることで、物流業界の課題解決に貢献していきたい」としています。
