東京メトロは来年度からすべての路線の運賃を値上げする方針を明らかにしました。
エレベーターの設置などバリアフリーの強化に充てられます。
国土交通省は去年12月、駅のエレベーターやホームドアの設置などバリアフリーを強化するため鉄道の運賃に一定額の値上げを認める制度の改正を行いました。
これを受けて、東京メトロは今月中にも値上げを申請する予定です。
値上げ幅は現在検討中で、「10円も1つの選択肢」としています。
運賃の値上げは消費増税を除くと28年ぶりとなります。
これに先立ち、JR東日本も来年3月から、山手線や京浜東北線の一部などで一律10円の運賃の値上げを行う方針を発表しています。
