バイデン政権が去年8月に成立させた法律によって、アメリカでは北米で組み立てられた電気自動車などを購入すると、最大7500ドル＝およそ100万円の税額控除を受けられます。　
17日に発表されたリストによりますと、対象となるのはテスラなどアメリカメーカーの車だけで、日産が北米で生産する「リーフ」をはじめ、ドイツのフォルクスワーゲン、韓国の現代の車は対象から外れました。　
電池に関する条件をクリアできなかったためとみられます。　
今後、外国のメーカー各社はアメリカでの税の優遇を受けるため、北米での生産や電池の調達を加速させることになりそうです。
