愛知県豊橋市が運営する特別養護老人ホームでエアコンの故障のため、一部の入所者がロビーで生活させられていたことが分かりました。
特別養護老人ホーム「つつじ荘」では8月上旬、3部屋のエアコンが故障したため、74歳から101歳の男女4人のベッドを冷房の効いたロビーに移動させていました。
修理が完了するまでの約3週間、ロビーで生活させて家族には知らせていませんでした。
また、施設で働くスタッフは「おむつ交換などの際にパーティションを置いていなかった」と話しているということです。
運営する豊橋市の浅井市長は「プライバシーへの配慮が欠けていた。入所者と家族の皆様に対してお詫びを申し上げたい」と謝罪しました。
市は職員への聞き取り調査などを進めています。
